It was a pretty nasty car accident. And it was when I had only been driving a new car for only a year. I have no idea how it happened. Everything happened so fast. It really happened so fast that I didn\\’t even realize who was at fault. Later, however, I would learn that the driver who hit me was at fault. I was running a green light as usual. Unfortunately, the driver must have missed it and ran a red light. So he sideswiped meand he ran right into where I was sitting and hit the driver\\’s seat. I completely flipped the car on its side. I barely remember it. Anyway, the ambulance came. They took me to the hospital immediately. At the time, I didn\\’t know I was in a car accident and that my car was totaled. I didn\\’t even know if it could be fixed. I didn\\’t know then. Now I know. The car was repairable, and I took it to the hospital for about a month. I paid a lot of money for the repair. Fortunately, the insurance company reimbursed me. I was very happy. I really couldn\\’t afford it at the time, and even though I\\’m financially better off now, it\\’s always good to be reimbursed for something. I have been very careful since then. Even when I\\’m giving way, I like to look at everything to make sure there\\’s no crazy person driving next to me. Something similar happened to my mother, she was hit by another car. Luckily, it was only a little bit and my mom was totally fine. Only the mirror of the car was damaged and it took two days to repair it. I thought that luck must have been on my side. Besides, I\\’m a cautious person, so I always drive carefully and pay attention to where I\\’m going and why. Disaster lurks everywhere and I have nothing to lose. Sometimes you can fix your car, but you can\\’t fix your life.
